Teachning assistant in charge of exercise sessions for the course MAA210 - Probability and Statistics, which takes place during the Fall Semester (September - January) of the 2nd year Bachelor Program.
Topics include:
- Discrete random variables: independence, joint distribution and marginal distribution, expectation and variance
- Absolutely continuous random variables: classical distributions, expectation and variance
- Cumulative distribution function, moment generating function
- Convergence of a sequence of random variables, law of large numbers for square integrable random variables, central limit theorem
- Introduction to descriptive statistics
- Introduction to parametric estimation
- Confidence interval and introduction to statistical tests
