(2021-2023) MAA203 - Introduction to Probability

Teachning assistant in charge of exercise sessions for the course MAA210 - Introduction to Probability, which takes place during the first half ot the Fall Semester (September - November) of the 2nd year Bachelor Program.

Topics include:

  • Discrete random variables: independence, joint distribution and marginal distribution, expectation and variance
  • Absolutely continuous random variables: classical distributions, expectation and variance
  • Cumulative distribution function, moment generating function
  • Convergence of a sequence of random variables, law of large numbers for square integrable random variables, central limit theorem

The professors in charge of the course are Mathieu Rosenbaum (2021/2022) and Charles Bertucci (2022/2023).
